- Midwifery Care:
My $3,500. fee for midwifery care of a normal pregnancy and birth includes the initial visit to get to know you and go over your medical history, a risk assessment to determine if a home or birth center birth is safe for your body, and all subsequent prenatal care including my being on call 24/7 for you from the time care is established. This also includes all labor care prior to delivery, the delivery, immediate postpartum care including the establishment of breastfeeding, newborn exam, follow-up postpartum home and/or office visits up to 8 weeks postpartum and travel fees for all home visits. I also provide referrals to Chiropractic, Homeopathic, Naturopathic, and Massage providers who I have screened for the purpose of resources for those I serve. Also networking with other parents, special needs groups, email groups, and activities is a part of the care I provide.
I have also created a "Parent Guidebook" that from the first visit will guide and remind you of all we discuss in your prenatal visits, as well as those we do not. With each visit there will be more sheets to add to your guidebook to cover all aspects of information needed to have a healthy and comfortable pregnancy. This guidebook contains only information and writings that I have researched and created myself with my clients in mind. At our last visit, I give you a copy of the records I keep while caring for you to add to the guidebook. This then becomes both a documentation of your pregnancy, and a resource for your future.
- Tub Rental:
For those who do not have a deep enough tub and do not want to purchase their own, I offer the rental of my own birth tub for $75. and includes use of the air compressor to inflate it, and the pump to pump out the water as well as a pre-measured antimicrobial cleaner. You will need to purchase a clean new garden hose to fill the tub with, and a hose adapter to attach it it the water source closest to the place you want to set the tub up. Here is a link to see the exact tub I have.
- Book Loans:
I have an extensive library of childbirth, breastfeeding, nutrition, herbal, aromatherapy, and child care books that are carded and free to use. I ask that you return them within a month of borrowing them, or at least make it known to me that you would like extra time. By signing out the card in the book you are stating that you will return the book in a reasonable amount of time such as mentioned here, or that you will replace it. My books are precious to me and I hate the thought that my opening their use to those I serve could possible mean I would lose them.

- Childbirth Education:
I taught in the Milford NH area for over a year called "Truly Natural Childbirth Classes". I wrote the curriculum for these classes and consider them my own. They are to serve those who desire a birth that relies more than anything else on trusting their body and trusting the bodily function of birth. Even though I created the outline and subject matter of the classes, the greatest part of them is that I allow the students in my class to direct the course of the content through their questions and comments all the while keeping tabs on what we have and have not covered. In so doing this class becomes personalized by those in the class. This is special to me as each set of classes has been very different from the rest. Women and their partners from all places of birth take my classes.
My classes are offered at the Monadnock Birth Center and are usually posted on my website as well as the centers. The fee is $150. for a 4 part series. I also offer "one on one" In home classes for those who desire the more personalized and private classes that are meant for them alone.
